My time at Legacy will be an experience that I will never forget. Everyone was extremely professional and caring. They were always checking in with me to make sure I was ok and that I was as comfortable as I could be. A special shout out to to Mike Burke who helped me in my darkest time. I am the wife of someone with addiction, I was terrified, not knowing what would happen to my husband, if he would be treated right, if he would have the best care at a facility that I really knew nothing about. I would just like to share my experience with you about this facility: EVERYONE FROM THE DRIVER WHO PICKED UP MY HUSBAND FROM THE AIRPORT, NURSES, THERAPIST, BUT MOST OF ALL, THE PROGRAM DIRECTOR OF THE FACILITY, BRAD SILVERS! DON'T KNOW WHAT I WOULD HAVE DONE WITHOUT HIS COMFORT AND PROMISING THAT MY HUSBAND WAS GOOD, AND HOW HE WILL DO IT THIS TIME! TODAY HE TRANSFTERED TO ANOTHER PART OF THE PROGRAM IN A DIFFERENT AREA.. SO I WILL STILL BE TALKING WITH BRAD EVERY DAY, AS HE WILL BE KEEPING ME UPDATED! There are a ton of great Detox centers around, Legacy Healing Detox is their inspiration. From the maids that cleaned my room, to every tech, nurse, therapist, case worker, and the owners, they were all kind, great at their jobs, and I always felt that every single one of them had my best interest in mind at all times. The entire place was clean, the food was great, the groups and activities were super fun and very informative. Plus, they all followed the most recent safety guidelines for COVID. If you, or someone you know, needs some with any addiction, i could not recommend a better, safer place then Legacy Healing Center. They saved my life. ~ adam f

Is detoxification part of your services?
Yes. At Legacy Healing Center Pompano, we provide medical detox services with 24/7 clinical supervision to ensure clients safely and comfortably withdraw from drugs or alcohol. Our licensed team may use medications when appropriate to ease symptoms, stabilize the body, and prepare clients for treatment. It’s important to remember that detox is only the first step in recovery. While it clears substances from the system, lasting change happens when clients continue into inpatient treatment and step-down care (PHP, IOP, OP)—where deeper therapeutic work begins to rewire the brain, address trauma, and build coping skills for long-term sobriety.
Are holistic therapies part of your treatment plans?
Yes. At Legacy Healing Center Pompano, we believe in a whole-person approach to recovery that blends evidence-based treatment with holistic therapies. Clients may participate in practices such as meditation, mindfulness, yoga, art therapy, and nutrition support to reduce stress, restore balance, and promote emotional healing. Holistic care is designed to complement clinical therapy, helping clients reconnect mind and body while developing healthier coping skills. Do you have aftercare services post-treatment?
Yes. At Legacy Healing Center Pompano, every client leaves treatment with a personalized aftercare plan designed to support long-term recovery. Our step-down levels of care—Partial Hospitalization (PHP), Intensive Outpatient (IOP), Outpatient (OP), and Alumni programs—provide structure, accountability, and continued therapy once detox or residential treatment is complete. Aftercare is critical because detox alone isn’t enough. True healing happens when clients continue into these programs, where they learn to manage triggers, build coping skills, and address the root causes of addiction. Our alumni network in South Florida also keeps clients connected to a strong recovery community long after treatment ends.
Do you accept insurance for treatment?
Yes. Legacy Healing Center Pompano accepts most private health insurance plans as well as private pay options for detox, inpatient, and outpatient treatment.
