My time at Legacy will be an experience that I will never forget. Everyone was extremely professional and caring. They were always checking in with me to make sure I was ok and that I was as comfortable as I could be. A special shout out to to Mike Burke who helped me in my darkest time. Without him I would have never made it. Mike saved my Life and I owe a him great state of gratitude for that! I’m sure he saved countless other lives as well. I will never forget what he did for me and that is what The Legacy family is all about! I am proud that I started my path to sobriety through there and I will never forget that as long as I live!! I am the wife of someone with addiction, I was terrified, not knowing what would happen to my husband, if he would be treated right, if he would have the best care at a facility that I really knew nothing about. I would just like to share my experience with you about this facility: EVERYONE FROM THE DRIVER WHO PICKED UP MY HUSBAND FROM THE AIRPORT, NURSES, THERAPIST, BUT MOST OF ALL, THE PROGRAM DIRECTOR OF THE FACILITY, BRAD SILVERS! DON'T KNOW WHAT I WOULD HAVE DONE WITHOUT HIS COMFORT AND PROMISING THAT MY HUSBAND WAS GOOD, AND HOW HE WILL DO IT THIS TIME! TODAY HE TRANSFTERED TO ANOTHER PART OF THE PROGRAM IN A DIFFERENT AREA.. SO I WILL STILL BE TALKING WITH BRAD EVERY DAY, AS HE WILL BE KEEPING ME UPDATED! Mickey Blum, Admissions Coordinator, saved my husband and I. I can’t say enough good things about this man. He was available for me to talk to him day and night all weekend to get my husband into rehab. Mind you, he was OFF and not working and took the time out of his day to make sure we were okay. He answered all my questions and just made me feel so much better. He was very professional and even talked to my husband, which was not easy. He predicted my husbands behavior from the beginning so he was able to pinpoint a solution to have him seek help. Mickey, you’re my hero and I can’t thank you enough for being there for the worst moments of my life, watching my husband go downhill. There are a ton of great Detox centers around, Legacy Healing Detox is their inspiration. From the maids that cleaned my room, to every tech, nurse, therapist, case worker, and the owners, they were all kind, great at their jobs, and I always felt that every single one of them had my best interest in mind at all times. The entire place was clean, the food was great, the groups and activities were super fun and very informative. Plus, they all followed the most recent safety guidelines for COVID. If you, or someone you know, needs some with any addiction, i could not recommend a better, safer place then Legacy Healing Center. They saved my life. ~ adam f

Legacy Healing Center is unlike any other treatment facility that I’ve ever been to. The care, compassion and absolute passion for recovery is unmatched. This place saved/changed my life in ways that at the time, I couldn’t have pictured. The staff, particularly Travis and Dennis, showed me the gifts that recovery has to offer and are still involved in my life/recovery today. They never gave up on me and always believed in me, no matter what I was going through. This place is hands down one of the best places to start your recovery journey. The level of care at each phase is outstanding. The staff was caring, compassionate, and friendly from intake to discharge. I personally still stay in contact with some of the staff for support and guidance when needed. Even in the worst of times they didn't judge me, but extended a helping hand and/or advice. I can truly say that the staff and Owner Marc, at Legacy Detox, showed me nothing but love. A life changing experience to say the least. I arrived at Legacy Detox terrified, closed off and full of doubt. They say everything happens for a reason. This was mine… Being a stubborn addict never landed me in a place that I walked away from wholeheartedly trusting. The second I walked into the facility, the staff was extremely welcoming and made me feel at home. I cannot remember a time where I thought “trust the process, this is for your own benefit”, however, many people that I did trust made it clear that there were only so many times I could go through this process without it. The groups, the schedule and the experience in itself took some getting used to, but, once it was time to go, I felt as if I had been there for an eternity. It was my safe place. While scary and out of the ordinary for most, the experience is one that is forever in my heart and was a start to a beautiful journey of clarity, happiness, but most importantly, sobriety. Over the years, I’ve struggled fiercely with alcoholism as well as multiple addictions and sought help from more recovery/rehab centers than I’m embarrassed to admit. While some did help, none more so than Legacy at Pompano Beach. Phenomenal, experienced, and recovered leaders provided a perspective on addiction unlike any other. Great staff, chef prepared meals, and people who really care make this a place where change and true recovery can begin. I’d recommend it to those I care about and anyone who wants to learn from the best and be treated with kindness and dignity in the process. There is hope and I pray you find it, Legacy is certainly where it can start. Today I have a restored family, career, and confident future that will remain so long as I apply what I’ve learned and continue to be of service to others. This place is truly a gem. Every single member of the clinical team truly cares and goes out of their way to establish a personal relationship with clients. Every aspect of comfort in a detox setting was taken into consideration from aesthetics to food to medication to therapy. They also provide continuity of care at all levels; detox, residential, PHP and IOP. In a sea of greed in the South Florida treatment center industry, their passion for recovery stands out as 9 out of 10 staff members are in recovery. I will never forget my time at Legacy Healing Center . The staff there , from top to bottom , treated me with dignity , respect , fairness , understanding , and compassion. Throughout my stay , I always felt safe , cared for , and attended to. I was engaged through various modalities that inspired me to look within , and find the root cause of my substance abuse . They walked with me through every step I needed to take in order to find peace . When I left legacy I can truly say I left a changed person. 19 months later I still get check ins from some of the staff there . 19 months later I'm still sober and my life is better than I could of ever dreamed . Ive found a passion for the gym and completely changed my physique , traveled the country , advanced my career , quadrupled my income , purchased a new car , started 2 business , and am looking to buy my 1st home very soon ! If I can do it anyone can AND if there's one place in the world that can HELP takes those first critical steps , it 100% is LEGACY HEALING CENTER ! ~ Michael H

I recommend Anyone with an Addiction or "Allergenic Issues" to bring yourself to Legacy and you Will change and have the help you need for your New Life! Legacey Detox gets a 5 star review from me. The staff is absolutely phenomenal and truly care about the well being of their clients. From Brad (the program director) down to the the cleaning ladies everyone makes you feel like you and your recovery is their priority. If I had to find a detox facility for a family member this would be the place I would send them no questions asked. Legacy was an amazing place to start my recovery process. The place is gorgeous and all the staff is very accommodating. The food is 5⭐️ and makes you feel right a home. Brad Silver is the best. Very nice detox/rehab, the house after is even nicer. Everyone’s happy and glad they’re there, if not on day one by the time they leave. The taper they used on me worked awesome. Def a good place to get clean and they’ll help you get the tools to stay clean. The classes are awesome. Rabbi and miss V are good. Glad I went. ~ Andrew C

I want to start out by saying the staff and everyone here really care and want the best for us. I was at an all time low and they saved my life. Unfortunately I've been to about 30 treatment centers and Unfortunately over the years you just never hear from anyone again but at legacy I've had multiple people including my favorite which is Dennis, he would message me every day to make sure I was ok and he was always there for me. Years after being there he still always reached out and did whatever he could to help. I even got the opportunity to go to legacy again and the craziest part is I actually cried leaving because I knew the staff and even the patients all want the same thing and everyone just wants the best for each other. It's like a real family, it's truly beautiful. I've never had people care so much but they truly saved my life, years after being there after getting some good clean time unfortunately I lost sight of things and stopped reaching out to them but they didn't stop, they were always there for me and even helped me from a completely different state. This place changes lives and they all understand the addiction. I will never forget legacy and the staff. Thank yall ~ Kyle R

As a parent of a resident, I appreciated the regular communication with me about my adult child. Michael worked hard to meet our individual needs.
