I am the wife of someone with addiction, I was terrified, not knowing what would happen to my husband, if he would be treated right, if he would have the best care at a facility that I really knew nothing about. I would just like to share my experience with you about this facility: EVERYONE FROM THE DRIVER WHO PICKED UP MY HUSBAND FROM THE AIRPORT, NURSES, THERAPIST, BUT MOST OF ALL, THE PROGRAM DIRECTOR OF THE FACILITY, BRAD SILVERS! DON'T KNOW WHAT I WOULD HAVE DONE WITHOUT HIS COMFORT AND PROMISING THAT MY HUSBAND WAS GOOD, AND HOW HE WILL DO IT THIS TIME! TODAY HE TRANSFTERED TO ANOTHER PART OF THE PROGRAM IN A DIFFERENT AREA.. SO I WILL STILL BE TALKING WITH BRAD EVERY DAY, AS HE WILL BE KEEPING ME UPDATED! Mickey Blum, Admissions Coordinator, saved my husband and I. I can’t say enough good things about this man. He was available for me to talk to him day and night all weekend to get my husband into rehab. Mind you, he was OFF and not working and took the time out of his day to make sure we were okay. He answered all my questions and just made me feel so much better. He was very professional and even talked to my husband, which was not easy. He predicted my husbands behavior from the beginning so he was able to pinpoint a solution to have him seek help. Mickey, you’re my hero and I can’t thank you enough for being there for the worst moments of my life, watching my husband go downhill. My time at Legacy will be an experience that I will never forget. Everyone was extremely professional and caring. They were always checking in with me to make sure I was ok and that I was as comfortable as I could be. A special shout out to to Mike Burke who helped me in my darkest time. Without him I would have never made it. Mike saved my Life and I owe a him great state of gratitude for that! I’m sure he saved countless other lives as well.
